There are two seasons each year, with the first season running from mid-February until June and the second season from mid-August until mid-December.

This season the Shankees will be competing in the A1 division for the first time in team history.

Rival teams in the A1 division comprise some of the best players in Argentina, with many of them playing on the national team (ranked 21 in the world).
