Players must be available to play on Sundays throughout the season and attend practice every Tuesday and Thursday evenings. 

Players must be able to make due on league fees and team contributions (U$D150 per season) to cover umpire and field rental fees and transportation. The SBO strives to keep costs low through fundraisers, social activities, and sponsors.  

Though the team nature is relaxed, there is a competitiveness that strives to win every game and tournament; in honor of Abner Doubleday and the good ‘ole Red, White and Blue.
